Photo Terms

These terms cover the photos vendors upload to Photo and Video Pros, including the photos on location pages.

Only upload photos you have the right to share

  • You (or your studio) took the photos, or you have written permission from the photographer to use them for marketing.
  • Photos uploaded for a location must have been taken at that location, and in the part of the day you choose (ceremony, formal pictures or reception).
  • You have any permission needed from the people in the photos to use them for marketing your business.

License to display

You keep ownership and copyright of your photos. By uploading, you give Photo and Video Pros a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to show, resize and format your photos on this website, credited to your business with a link to your listing, for as long as they are on your listing. [Add or remove use in social media or marketing for the site, if wanted.]

How we handle your photos

  • We show every location photo in full, at its own shape. We never crop them.
  • We resize and compress photos for fast loading and remove camera and GPS data.
  • You can remove any photo at any time in My Account > Location Photos.

Reporting a photo

Every photo on the site has a Report link. Report a photo if it was not taken at the location shown, if it is your photo and was used without permission, or if it is inappropriate. Reported photos stay up while we review them. If a report is upheld we remove the photo, and we may contact the vendor.

Copyright complaints

If you believe a photo infringes your copyright, use the Report link or email [contact email] with a link to the photo, proof that you own it, and your contact details. [Add a DMCA agent and process if required.]

What happens if these terms are broken

We may remove photos, remove a vendor from a location or city, or close an account that breaks these terms.
